Aspire provides a range of programs across the state.  The programs provided are in line with the Aspire mission statement, and the focus on rehabilitation and support, support for families and health promotion and education.

In Burnie, Hobart and Launceston Aspire provides rehabilitation and support programs for up to 216 people at any one time funded by the Department of Health and Human Services.  The programs are based on a rehabilitation framework and staff are provided training in the most effective ways to enable people to find success and satisfaction in their lives.  Aspire provides a focus on engaging people with the community and with the participant’s consent seeks to work in close collaboration with clinical treatment providers to ensure that people have an effective and positive experience.

Aspire also provides community education and health promotion programs to increase access to services and to reduce stigma in the community.  The agency has been privileged to receive funds from the annual blueskyball in Launceston to provide resources for health promotion.

Aspire also has been funded by the Community Mental Health Program component of the Federal Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA), to provide family support programs in the north and north west.  This is a new program which should be functioning by April 2008.
