for Aspire
CEO John Dutton, speaking at an Annual General Meeting

Aspire plans ahead using a yearly cycle. The process begins in January, and includes committee meetings, forums and budget setting processes. At the beginning of July each year the agency has a budgeted plan for the following year. As Aspire is a Not for Profit organisation, it does not plan for 'profit.' Aspire plans for the delivery of services and seeks ways to utilise resources for the community good. Aspire has contracts with funding bodies that must be fulfilled, however the agency is community directed.
Aspire seeks funding for tasks and projects identified by members, staff and service users to implement the ideas that are promoted.
The Aspire Committee of Management meets monthly to plan and to oversee the activity of the organisation.
The Committee has a balance of carers, participants and professionals and undertakes a strategic planning review each year.
