Rehabilitation and Recovery Service Hobart

The Hobart office has an Area Manager, Rehabilitation and Recovery Staff and Administration Staff. The staff have a variety of backgrounds and experience including social work, occupational therapy and rehabilitation counseling.

Complementing the individual support is our Rehabilitation and Recovery activities, the varied program includes:

  • Art therapy
  • Communication
  • Excursions to places of interest
  • Personal development groups e.g. emotional strength building for women
  • Mental health education
  • Mental illness education
  • Recovery and connectedness programs

Our structured programs have staff support and are evaluated by participants. Some programs are for only a few hours, others run for several weeks. Every effort is made to provide programs in the community. Assistance with transport can be arranged.
