Rehabilitation and Recovery Service Burnie

The Burnie office has an Area Manager and experienced Rehabilitation and Recovery staff. The Burnie office also co-ordinates the outreach services for the West Coast and Devonport. Our staffs varied backgrounds include social work, welfare, arts and psychology.

Complementing the individual support is our Rehabilitation and Recovery activities, the varied program includes:

  • Consumer advisory group
  • Mental health education
  • Mental illness education
  • Recovery and connectedness programs

Our structured programs have staff support and are evaluated by participants. Some programs are for only a few hours, others run for several weeks. Every effort is made to provide programs in the community. Assistance with transport can be arranged.
